Generator Installations

What happens when the power goes off?

In this modern era, we have become so dependent on electricity that we forget how fundamental it is to our way of life. We forget, that is, until the day there’s a power outage! Lights, refrigerators, heating and cooling systems, hot water, freezers, basement sump pumps…all gone. In just a few hours food can be spoiled, pipes frozen, basements flooded. Now is the time to prepare for the next power outage. A generator can be:

  • Easy to install
  • Fitted with an automatic switch
  • Ultra quiet
  • Sized to run your entire property or just a few main circuits
  • Powered by propane supplied by Lamprey Energy

Together with our electrical contractor we can ensure that you never again have to worry about losing power.

Already have a hard-wired propane generator?

What should you expect when you get it serviced? At Lamprey Energy we don’t service generators but we do work closely with service providers. But not all services are equal. See below for a check list that should be covered by both an annual service and a mid-year (6-month) service.
