Meet Our Team
Director of Office and Human Resources
Andrea’s job at Lamprey Energy is multi-faceted: along with taking care of the operations of the office, from equipment to IT to communications, she handles all the insurance and benefits for the company and employees; she also works in Customer Service alongside Deb and Renee.
Andrea grew up on the North Shore of Boston but has lived just west of Kennebunk, Maine, for the past 27 years where, together with her husband, Jim, she’s raised two sons, Ed and Rob. She started at Lamprey in June 1989, and since then has worked in just about every department. While she loves her job, she also loves to travel, play volleyball, and cook.
Angel started at Lamprey December 2013 and staff and customers alike quickly learned that wherever Angel goes his smile goes with him. Angel grew up in Aruba and says he finds the New England winter “cool”! Working alongside Mike Finney in our warehouse, Angel is also offering support to our team of technicians, running parts, lending a hand, and helping out wherever he’s needed. Growing up on an island it’s no surprise that Angel’s into watersports—he’s been a swimming instructor, a sailing instructor, a boat captain, and even a parasailing instructor!
Carrie has worked in service and dispatch for 16 years. She came to Lamprey Energy in the fall of 2012 and has been keeping our technicians busy and efficient ever since. Living in Berwick, Maine, with her husband Ken, Carrie has three children (all grown up!) six grandchildren, and five step grandchildren. She says she’s never happier than when she’s “hangin’ out with my grandbabies and family.” There are, she says, “always exciting moments going on!”
David has been driving for Lamprey since 1988. He lives in Kittery, Maine, and in his down time likes to turn his hand to a bit of DIY and yard work.
Deb has been with the Lamprey company since 2008, but was born a Lamprey so has been in the family a whole lot longer! She grew up in North Hampton, where she still lives with her husband Kerry, son Tyler, and daughter Megan. She likes spending time with friends and family, reading, and scrapbooking.
Working in our Customer Service department, Deb helps customers over the phone but is also responsible for coordinating billing for service and installations.
Chief Financial Officer
Don has worked at Lamprey for 17 years in many capacities. He is currently our Chief Financial Officer and is also responsible for fuel delivery. Don grew up in North Hampton, but now lives in Hampton with his wife, Sue, and their three boys, Tim, Patrick, and Robert. He coaches youth sports for his kids and is a member and past President of the Hampton Rotary Club.
Ed is originally from Rhode Island but came to New Hampshire in 2005. In the winter he drives an oil truck for Lamprey Energy, but in the summer joins East Coast Signals out of Deerfield, New Hampshire, where he works as a driver/laborer installing traffic signals.
Ed served 21 years in the US Army and retired last year. He currently lives in Barrington with his wife, Jessica, and daughter, Hadley. He has two dogs, Cooper and Lily – a springer spaniel and an Australian cattle dog. He enjoys making wooden bird houses and hiking.
Born in Brunswick, ME, Eric has lived in Georgia and Arizona, but settled back in Maine in 1996. Today he lives in South Berwick with his wife Vickie. Their three children are grown up and Eric says he and Vickie are now able to go out and do the things they haven’t always had time for: hiking, camping, gourmet cooking, and playing bass guitar.
Certified by NORA and licensed in the Massachusetts as an Oil Burner Technician, Greg has worked for multiple Home Heating companies in the areas of Customer Service, Service Department administration, and as a technician. Retired in 1996 from the Navy as a ship propulsion plant and HVAC mechanical systems and maintenance specialist, Greg relocated to Sunapee, NH from New Jersey in 2001.
Greg joined Lamprey Energy in 2015 for the opportunities of being a part of what he is convinced is a premier company in the industry, and also to raise his twin daughters with his wife Pam on the Seacoast.
Greg and his family now reside in York, ME.
President and Owner
Guy came to Lamprey as the new President and Owner in the spring of 2010. For the previous 15 years he had been the operations manager for DF Richard Energy in Dover, New Hampshire.
Guy has long been known for his entrepreneurial spirit and hard-working attitude. At a young age in Durham, New Hampshire, he mowed neighborhood lawns in the summer and snow blowed driveways in the winter – often getting up at 4am to ensure that his customers got cleaned out before he headed out to school.
After graduating from Oyster River High School, Guy studied business management first at Northeastern University and then at UNH and the Wittemore School. While in school he started a painting company as a summer job, which eventually grew to having employees working full time – during the school year he managed his staff between classes. In the winter he bought old houses, which he would renovate and then sell in the spring at a profit. He continued along this path, growing his business over time to a staff of 52 painters and six carpenters before he eventually moved into the energy industry.
Guy still lives in the Seacoast area having moved from Durham, first to Madbury, New Hampshire, then to South Berwick, Maine, then Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He now lives in the old Lamprey homestead on Atlantic Avenue in North Hampton with his wife, Jenny, and six-year old daughter, Eleanor. He has two grown daughters, Emily and Hannah, who both live in the Seacoast region and have worked part-time over the last year for the family business at Lamprey Energy.
Customer Service Representative
Hannah joined our customer service team July 2015. New to the energy industry she comes to us with great organizational skills and customer service experience—her previous employment was at York Golf and Tennis Club where she rose through the ranks, starting in the pro shop and ultimately becoming events planner.
Hannah grew up in South Berwick, Maine, but now lives in York, Maine. When not at work Hannah’s greatest joy is spending time with her family: husband Greg, sons Bowden and Carter, and 14-year-old dog Petey.
Director of Marketing
Originally from England, Jenny has lived in the Seacoast area since 2006, first in Portsmouth, and now with her husband, Guy, and daughter, Eleanor, in the Lamprey house on Atlantic Avenue, North Hampton. Her job involves anything to do with words: looking after the website, coordinating marketing campaigns, writing the newsletter, and writing any other documents anyone asks her to write!
Josh came to us in 2015 having graduated from the Northeast Technical Institute with certificates in oil, propane and natural gas. Raised in Fryeburg, ME, and a graduate of Kennett High School in North Conway, he now lives in Rye, NH. When not working, he enjoys designing and building electronic equipment.

Kayla grew up in Dover, NH, and joined the team at Lamprey Energy in 2015 before which she had worked at lululemon athletica and Liberty Mutual. When not at work Kayla leads an active life and says she loves ‘adventure and being spontaneous.’ She is a CrossFit instructor and a certified Olympic Weightlifting coach. In 2016 she hopes to go to Iceland, hike Mount Washington, and go for a hot-air balloon ride. She’s also thinking of taking up some watersports, like paddle-boarding, surfing, or kayaking.
Kerry came to Lamprey Energy in 2015 after almost 15 years in sales with a beer distributor. When he’s not working he spends a good amount of time officiating football, basketball and lacrosse, from youth leagues to college level. A loyal fan of Boston/New England teams, Kerry enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending time at the beach. He lives in North Hampton with his wife, Deb, and their children Tyler and Megan.
Before joining Lamprey Energy in 2015 Kevin had run his own business, Marshall Heating and Cooling, for 20 years in Nottingham, NH. A native of Plaistow, Kevin lives in Nottingham with his wife, Kristen, and sons, Marshall and Grayson. When he has time off he enjoys hunting and fishing, or hiking and camping with the family.
Fin started in the energy industry when he was eight years old working weekends and school vacations in his father’s heating supply house, Heating Specialties. He officially became part of the team, working part-time as an inside salesman, in 1975, then moved to full-time outside salesman after receiving his associates degree in HVAC in 1979. For more than 30 years he has been secretary of the NH/VT Chapter of the National Association Oil Heat Service Managers and has also assisted with many trainings. In 1996 he received the Associate of the Year Award from the NAOHSM and in 2006 the Hugh McKee Award, the highest award bestowed to a member, for outstanding achievements and contributions to the fuel oil industry and for the understanding & cooperation of his fellow workers. He continued to work at Heating Specialties until the summer of 2010 when he joined Lamprey as Facilities Manager.
Fin has lived in Chester, New Hampshire, for 55 years and was a member of the Chester Volunteer Fire Department for more than 30 years. His hobbies include boating, camping, kayaking, and singing and he has been a member of the Manchester Choral Society for 16 years. He lives with his wife, Jay, and their son, Daniel.
Mike is an experienced, well-rounded, propane, natural gas, oil, heating, and air-conditioning technician. Serving the HVAC industry in Maine and New Hampshire since 2004 he joined the Lamprey team in the summer of 2015.
Mike was raised in Sanford, Maine, where he now lives with his fiancée, seven-year-old stepdaughter, one dog, one cat, one fish, and baby Shyla born March 2016.
Mike enjoys spending time with his family, going golfing, fishing, hiking, camping, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and traveling to warm-weather destinations.
Mike Meserve has worked in the Seacoast propane industry for 40 years. He has been the service manager at DF Richard, worked as a sales representative for Strogens Applied Energy, and for 10 years ran his own heating installation and service company. Today he is our senior sales representative and is always on hand to help customers make informed decisions and understand the options available for their particular needs – sometimes less is more. Mike holds propane technician licenses for New Hampshire and Maine.
Randy Gauron first drove a delivery truck for Lamprey in 2006 and has been with us every winter since then. In the warmer months he goes gill net fishing for L. Gauron Deep Sea Fishing and Whale Watching out of Hampton. Randy grew up in Hampton Beach at No.1 Ocean Boulevard ‘just steps from the water,’ and now lives in Hampton with his wife, Tricia, and two dachshunds, Tinker and Skipper. When not driving or fishing Randy enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing cross-country.
Customer Service Representative
Renee has been at Lamprey since 2007. As well as answering the phones and helping customers with billing enquiries, service issues, and account queries, she also takes care of the front desk and is usually the first person you meet when coming into our offices. She lives in Kingston, with her husband of 20 years and has two grown children, three dogs, a parrot, and koi fish in her backyard pond. Spending quality time with her family is a priority and she also loves to bargain shop!
A highly skilled oil, propane, and air conditioning technician, Rikk has been with Lamprey since 2006.
Stan was born and raised in Rochester, New Hampshire. A jack-of-all-trades, Stan has worked as a logger, truck driver, meat cutter, and diesel mechanic. He entered the propane business more than 11 years ago and believes he has found a good home. He joined Lamprey in 2010. He remains a jack-of-all-trades as he works in all facets of our operations business: he is our first propane delivery driver, but he also sets and installs all the tanks, works on installs, and takes his share of on-call work for the service department. Stan currently lives in North Berwick with Samantha and has two daughters – Hannah and Grace – and son, Ben. In his downtime, he likes to spend time with the family, hunt and fish, and he keeps farm animals such as pigs.
Born and raised in Dover, New Hampshire, Steve worked in the building trade for 34 years before coming to Lamprey in 2001 as a seasonal delivery driver – he’s been with us ever since. His job involves delivering fuel to our customers, mowing the lawn, and harassing the office staff.
Steve has two children, Marnie and Steven, Jr., as well as two granddaughters, Ashley and Lindsey. He is engaged to Catherine and together they have bought a new home in Nottingham, New Hampshire. They recently adopted their first ‘son’ together – he is half hound, half lab, and named Lucas. Steve and Catherine spend a lot of their spare time riding their Harley.
Easily the friendliest person behind the wheel of a 3,000-gallon delivery truck, Wayne lives in Northwood with his wife, Chris, and their four kids. Chris miraculously home-schools the whole bunch while being an on-call nurse—not to mention Wayne’s delivery schedule! When he’s not filling our customers’ oil tanks Wayne loves to take vacations with his family and recommends the all-inclusive plan at Disney!
Will Willette is a graduate of Exeter High School, the Seacoast School of Technology, and the Peterson School. After graduation he worked for about a year with the Dowling Corporation and then at Barra Heating for almost 7 years. He joined Lamprey Energy early in 2014. Will currently lives in Hampton with his wife and 5 dogs. When not at work, he can be found mountain hiking, splitting wood, flying or jumping out of airplanes, working on his truck, or – come winter – playing in the snow.
